Singlish is the Sinhala phonetic transliteration, an English-based colloquial language widely spoken and used in writing in Singapore. However, since English is also an official language in Singapore, the use of  Singlish is discouraged and not approved in official documents.

The main window of the application enables you to paste or type in the input Singlish text in the designated panel and automatically generates the corresponding Sinhala text, in Unicode. You can easily copy the result to your clipboard by pressing CTRL-Space or save it directly as a text file to your computer. There are dedicated buttons for all these functions but you can also use the standard copy and paste key combinations to grab text from any of the panels.

Aside from generating Sinhala text out of the input Singlish text, Sinhala Font Converter can also generate ANSI text from UNICODE or viceversa. The application supports fonts such as Iskoola Pota or Nirmala for Unicode and FM-Abhaya or FM-Bindumathi for the ANSI format.

The converter is intuitive and easy to work with. You can either type in the desired text or paste it directly into the designated panels. Alternatively, Sinhala Font Converter can also process text files as input.

Just like before, the converted text can be easily saved as a text file or copied to the Windows clipboard for further use.
