SIPob is a SIP-based outbound dialer that can be used to schedule VoIP calls and execute specific scenarios if the intelocutor answers, such as reading texts or playing audio files.

Relying on the Session Initiation Protocol (or in short, SIP) and RFC 3261, SIPob enables you to create a queue and performs calls over IP networks. It can create multiple profiles to work with, managing call queues for each. All the profiles are displayed within the main window, alongside the scheduled calls, corresponding phone numbers and the assigned scenarios.

It supports NAT traversal, UDP, TCP and TLS protocols and enables you to monitor running communication sessions in real-time, loggin data and allowing report generation. A summary of the active, cancelled, failed, busy and successful calls is also available.

You start by configuring the service settings, specifying whether SIPob is installed behind a NAT gateway or not and if so, enter the external IP address for the NAT transversal and UPnP parameters. You can also tamper with the TTS voice to use, the number of redial attempts and the time between two consecutive tries.

The 'SIP Destinations' tab is where you can configure routes to SIP endpoints. By default, SIPob sets SIP-UA as its endpoint type.

Using the 'Scenario Editor' you can add WAV files to play when the call is answered (note that the file must be in 16 bit per sample, with 1 channel and a frequency of 8000 Hz). SIPob enables you to edit your scenario step by step, from playing the sound to ending the call.

SIPob works with multiple profiles and allows realt-time monitoring of the calling sessions. It can be instructed to automatically execute user-defined scenarios upon answer, which include playing audio files or read texts out loud using a text-to-speech engine. Thanks to its user-friendly interface, configuration is a breeze once you know what each function is designed for.
