sipsak

Sipsak Limitations

No tool is perfect! Here are some limitations you should know about:

-
< li>The hostname used in the Via line isn’t always accurate. This can happen with the loopback interface or if there are multiple interfaces on a host. The rport parameter helps fix issues with incorrect hostnames, but older implementations may still have trouble.\l >\ n
• DNS responses aren’t fully parsed, which might lead to odd outputs during hostname detection.• TCP transport protocol isn’t supported.• No support for IPv6 transport protocol either.• Missing support for Record-Route and Route headers.• Not fully compatible with RFC3261.• A few smaller problems listed in the TODO file need attention. \
