SKAT is a Mac OS X software variant of the popular German card game with the same name that originated in the early 19th century.
The SKAT game provides you with a challenging gaming experience by playing against strong AI based opponents.
SKAT includes the original Altenburger card images and comes with both the German and French decks of cards.
The gameplay is based on the international ISPA Skat rules and allows you to access a detailed history of the games you've played.
SKAT comes with several personalizable options. The most important is that you can create custom rules such as Re, Bock, Kontr and Ramsch.
The computer opponents are animated human-like mice, but you can change their appearance with your own photos. To make things more diverse, you can also choose between three background scenes.
Several other functions include the ability to view the game score according to tournament rules, undo the last action, replay last game and show the last trick.
