Sketchboard is a super easy app that lets you draw on a whiteboard. Kids can use it for doodling, while adults can quickly sketch out ideas before they forget them. It's pretty handy!
This app has a Metro-style design, and you can install it on Windows 8, 8.1, or 10 devices, including tablets and touch-supported gadgets. The best part? You don't need the Internet to use it! So whether you're online or offline, you can start drawing whenever inspiration strikes.
The whiteboard starts off blank, so you're free to unleash your creativity right away using your fingers or mouse. Want to change things up? Just right-click anywhere on the screen to see app commands that let you pick different brush sizes—small, medium, or large—and colors like black, blue, green, or red. Made a mistake? No worries! There’s an eraser ready for those oops moments.
If you want to save your drawings as PNG images, Sketchboard makes it easy! All saved pictures go into a folder called "Sketchs" in your "Pictures Library," with the current timestamp in its name. This way, you'll know exactly when you created each piece.
You can clear the whiteboard anytime if you want to start fresh or keep adding to what you've already drawn. However, keep in mind that there aren't any settings for changing where those saved files go or how they're named.
Sketchboard is really just a simple tool for doodling on a whiteboard. It comes with three brush types, four colors, an eraser feature, and saving options.
