SM Timer

SM Timer is a lightweight Windows application built specifically for helping you shut down your computer or log off the current user with the aid of a countdown timer or at a custom time.

It comes in handy for all users who didn’t get used to working with the Windows 8 operating system and need to bring back the basic shutdown functionality right on their screen, or need to download multiple videos or songs and schedule a shutdown session.

SM Timer sports a clean and simplistic layout that allows you to configure the dedicated parameters with minimum effort.

The program gives you the possibility to select the action that you want to trigger (turn off the computer or log off the current user), and activate the countdown timer by specifying the time in hours and minutes.

What’s more, you can make SM Timer automatically process the selected action at a user-defined time (which can be tweaked in terms of hours and minutes). Thanks to its built-in slider, you can easily set up the time parameters.

You are allowed to run the tool at Windows startup. Since it doesn’t require much computer knowledge to work with this app, even rookies can master the program with just a few clicks.

During our testing we have noticed that SM Timer accomplishes a task quickly and without errors. It leaves a minimal footprint on system resources, so the overall performance of the computer is not affected.
