Smallpdf is a handy tool for anyone dealing with lots of PDF documents. If your computer is running low on disk space, you might want to think about reducing the size of those PDFs instead of deleting them or backing up your data (which, by the way, is super important!). This is where Smallpdf comes in!

This app is made for everyday users. It has a clean and simple design that makes it easy to understand. All you need to do is drag your PDF files into the main window and let Smallpdf do its magic! It automatically compresses the files without you having to worry about complicated settings.

No Batch Processing

One thing to keep in mind: Smallpdf doesn’t support batch processing like some other tools do. When you drop multiple PDFs, it opens a new window for each one. So, if you try to compress a lot of files at once, be ready for several windows popping up! It’s not the end of the world, but it can be a bit annoying.

File Conversion Options

A cool feature is that Smallpdf can also convert PDFs into different formats like Microsoft Word (.docx), Excel (.xlsx), PowerPoint (.pptx), and JPG. And guess what? You don’t need any extra software like Microsoft Office or Adobe Acrobat Reader for these conversions!

Edit Your PDFs

The app has more features too, like editing, merging, splitting, rotating, signing, protecting, and unlocking PDFs. But right now, many of these options are greyed out. We hope they add these features in future updates because they would really enhance the user experience.

Quality Compression Results

When we tested Smallpdf's compression abilities, we were impressed! It reduced file sizes without losing quality at all. The same goes for converting files; everything looked great after conversion!

A Bright Future Ahead

Even though it lacks batch processing at this time, remember that Smallpdf is still fairly new on the scene. There's plenty of room for growth and improvement!
