Solitaire Settlers of Catan is a free and cross-platform software variant of the widely-played board game Settlers of Catan created by Klaus Teuber.

You will be able to play a game against the computer's artificial intelligence. Moreover, the gameplay is standard (without expansions).

Like in the board game, you will be able to collect resources (brick, wood, wool and rock), build roads, settlements and cities, create ports and draw development cards. You can also trade with the other players who, in their turn, can trade resources with you.

Solitaire Settlers of Catan also includes a log to view what was rolled and to monitor the actions of the computer. You can also view who's got the most points as well.

Moreover, Solitaire Settlers of Catan includes various sound effects for almost any action in the game.

From the Settings window, you can select the player number (3 to 6), the computer skill level and game type and the randomization parameter.

You can also choose a player color: blue, red, white, orange, green and yellow.

Being developed using Java, Solitaire Settlers of Catan is cross-platform and can be used on any operating system that comes with Java support (e.g. Mac OS X, Windows, Linux).
