MacSolitaireX is a simple Mac OS X variant of the popular Solitaire game that has been included in the Windows operating system since 1990. MacSolitaireX is a "klondlike" solitaire clone with basic gameplay, standard user interface and options.
The rules are very simple: you must create complete decks of cards of the same type by drag and dropping them onto matching cards. The hidden cards must be discovered and the cards above the 7-column pack must be used as well.
Users who play MacSolitaireX will get to choose between three card models, standard or vegas scoring and beat their own scores with timed games.
MacSolitaireX looks very familiar to OS X users because it uses the Cocoa user interface library. It also employs OpenGL to render the playing area and was coded in Objective-C.
MacSolitaireX is nothing fancy, but it delivers a great gaming experience to new or long-time Solitaire fans.
