Spider FOR MAC

Spider is a simple Mac OS X version of the popular Windows  PC game, Spider Solitaire, which is actually based on a real-life, physical game. This variant comes with many themes plus a simple score and move tracker.

The application is based on the same well-known rules that Windows users are accustomed to. Thus, the goal is to place all the cards in each deck in ascending order until a complete suite is created. A complete suite disappears from the board.

When you finish all card suites on the board, you win the game. Spider comes with 3 difficulty levels that determine the type of suites available in game: one type, 2 types or 4 different types.

In addition to this, the Spider game displays you current score in its heads-up display. What’s more, the undo action is supported and you can even  monitor the number of moves you have made in realtime.

On the downside of things, Spider does not keep any trace of the number of wins and losses, not to mention other statistical information.

Anyway, another advantage of playing this variant is that it comes with beautiful themes that change the card design (front and back) and background. Smooth animation accompanies each card move.

Spider is an enjoyable Spider Solitaire game for the Mac. If you like Spider Solitaire, then this one will not disappoint. In spite of this, do not expect an exact clone of the Windows version, but just a more visually customizable one.
