SPIDER MANIA SOLITAIRE is a no-frills Spider Solitaire clone for the Mac OS X platform that comes with several features and beautiful graphics. Like in the classic variant, you can track your time and play in multiple difficulty levels.

This Spider solitaire version features the same rules. You must complete entire suite of cards (from Ace to King) by dragging and dropping cards on top of each other in a reverse consecutive order.

SPIDER MANIA SOLITAIRE’s difficulty modes include “Easy” where you can play and learn the rules at the same time, “Medium” and “Hard” where you need to drop specific types of suits on top of each other.

Thus, depending on the game type, you are allowed to drop cards of any suit on top of each other (Easy), black with black and red to red (Medium), or just suit for suit (Hard). At the end of a completed game, a screen will display your score.

SPIDER MANIA SOLITAIRE offers standard functions such as the timer, undo / redo and hint buttons, as well as beautiful animated graphics that trigger when moving cards and completing decks.

Overall, SPIDER MANIA SOLITAIRE does not impress as far as features go, but the graphics, card deck design and animations are well executed. Moreover, taking all aspects into consideration, the price tag might not seem justified by many users.
