When dealing with approaches that try to determine the governing parameters of the nonlinear behavior of complex systems over time, the scene was saved by the introduction of System Dynamics and all the elements that constitute the use of undertaken actions, such as stocks, flows, internal feedback loops, and more. Processes such as Monte Carlo simulations or discrete-event analysis, all require specialized means in terms of the necessary software.

Spry Simulation was designed in order to account for such requirements, and it will offer users a dedicated Microsoft Excel add-on that will allow them to perform analysis for system dynamics, discrete-event, and Monte Carlo simulations, all from within the Excel environment.

Once installed, the add-on will create its own, dedicated entry in the ribbon menu, and users will be able to select a multitude of features from the included menu. For instance, one can edit the inputted data, run a simulation, clear the results, or preview the outcome, which is provided as plotted content.
