Getting Started with STAR Arts & Stuff

When you first open STAR Arts & Stuff, it asks you to pick a workspace. This way, all your records, backups, multimedia files, and other temporary stuff are saved in one neat spot. No more hunting around for lost files!

Add Items Easily

The next cool thing is adding items to your inventory. You can do this through the Data Management panel. Here, it’s easy to enter details like general info and physical characteristics of the items. You can also note where each item came from and even attach up to 8 media files if you want!

Reviewing Your Inventory

You can check out your entries in the Inventory panel. It lets you sort your items based on any info stored in the database record. Plus, there are simple keyword searches or even advanced query options to find exactly what you're looking for.

Organize Your Collection

STAR Arts & Stuff makes organizing items a breeze! You can categorize them into different groups and set up a hierarchy between entries too. Through workspace preferences, decide which inventory labels show up and whether multiple users can work on the database at once.

This software gives you control over text formatting as well! You can change system icons and set measurement units that fit your needs. Plus, customize how automatically generated IDs look—it's all about making it work for you!

Kiosk Mode Fun!

A neat feature is the kiosk mode! This lets you showcase database entries in full-screen mode during exhibits while allowing control over slide duration, font size, and what info gets presented.
