Starcraft II is the second game in the iconic Starcraft franchise. If you loved the first one, you're in for a treat! This game keeps the same military-style gameplay but lets you develop your own strategies against a mix of enemies.
Story and Gameplay
The base game is called Wings of Liberty, but don't forget it comes with two expansion packs: Heart of Swarm and Legacy of the Void. Each part focuses on different races like Terrans, Zerg, or Protoss. The Terrans are basically humans who got kicked off Earth. The Zerg are this crazy super species that can assimilate other life forms. And then we have the Protoss, who have some pretty wild mental powers!
Your Role in Starcraft II
You get to play as an insurgent Terran who's trying to fight back against the mean old Terran Dominion in what's called the Koprulu sector. Your main job? Gather pieces of a powerful artifact that'll help you win your battles.
Strategy and Tactics
As you progress, you'll meet all sorts of characters while completing various missions. In Starcraft II, you can move your troops around the battlefield and use different strategies to come out on top. Each race has its own strengths and weaknesses, so you'll want to learn how to make the most of what you've got!
Online Features
The game also connects you with Blizzard Entertainment’s Battle.net online gaming service. When you're online, you can join automated ranked matches against real players to boost your experience and improve your character's rank.
Custom Games and Level Editor
