Stasis is a 2D isometric Sci-Fi adventure game that takes place in the dystopian future on a desolate spacecraft onto which John Maracheck and his family travel in stasis to a better life.

John Maracheck awakes from stasis on the Groomlake, the re-purposed mining ship that is now far away from Earth and in a decaying orbit around the gas giant, Neptune. The drifting spaceship is operated by Cayne Corporation, a multinational company that uses it to perform heinous experimentation and conduct illegal and illegitimate research. Cayne Corporation is a multimillion dollar conglomerate that plays a significant role in human, technological, scientific and medical advancement.

As you take on the role of John, you will have to overcome his pain and injuries and try to find his wife and daughter that are now missing. Time is of the essence as the Groomlake dives deeper into the dreadful methane clouds.

You can control John by using the point-and-click game controls and explore the surrounding environment in order to solve puzzles that can take you further into the story. As you unlock new locations you will also unravel Groomlake’s secrets.

The inventory system, Quantum Storage Device, helps you use a wide variety of items that you can combine with each other in order to change their purpose and complete challenging tasks. Solving all encountered puzzles is the only way in which you can unlock new environments, find and interact with various characters and discover the entire story.

Stasis features two-dimensional artwork drawn from an isometric point of view, a twisted plot that depicts the struggle between good and evil and an immersive soundtrack and sound effects. Stasis comes with numerous environments, in-game video cut scenes and multiple isometric zoom levels.
