Today, most computers are connected either to a local network or the Internet. This increased connectivity has translated into a rise in digital tools designed to assist network administrators, or casual users in detecting IP addresses.

SterJo Fast IP Scanner is one such program that scans an entire user-defined IP range for valid addresses. Although it is most useful for network administrators and other similar professionals, the application is highly intuitive and efficiency-geared and allows even new users to jump in and start scans in seconds.

Indeed, once started, all it takes to start processing IPs is a simple mouse click on the “Scan IP range” button. The scan duration depends on the number of valid addresses in the network and simple statistics will be displayed at the end of the process (e.g. scan duration and reply timers).

A great feature of this programs is that it also resolves the hostname. Also, besides batch processes targeting multiple items, one can also issue tasks for single selected IP addresses.
