Strategic War is a fun and absorbing Risk-like turn-based strategy game that you can play with four of your friends or against skilled AI players.

Your main objective is to eliminate all your opponents and conquer the entire world by adapting your attack and defense tactics based on the changes that occur during the game. Hence, you have to organize and manage your armies, conquer nearby countries, gain control of strategically positioned states and maximize your income.

The game can be played with two, three, four or five players and, if you decide to include AI players in your match, you can choose between three different player types as follows: defensive, aggressive and intelligent. You can let Strategic War decide the difficulty level of your opponents by using the random feature.

By accessing the Preferences window, you can adjust the music and sound effect volume, change the computer speed and distribute the land on a random basis or let each player select the desired country.

Each player has a minimum of three incoming armies. The number of armies delivered to each player is equal to the number of owned countries divided by three, plus the bonuses you gain from owning entire continents.

In a game turn you can deploy armies, attack adjacent countries and fortify a territory by moving troops from one state to another. To assign more than one army to a country, you can click and hold the left mouse button for a faster deployment.

The side bar helps you visualize how much of the world’s map each player owns while the “status table” allows you to keep track of the territories and armies each player owns.
