What is Strategic War FOR MAC?

Strategic War

Strategic War is a super fun game that feels a lot like Risk! You can play it with up to four friends or take on some smart AI opponents. The goal? Simple! You need to wipe out your rivals and take over the whole world. To do this, you'll have to be crafty with your attack and defense strategies since things can change pretty quickly during the game.

Your Mission: Conquer!

Your main job is to organize your armies, conquer nearby countries, and grab control of key states while boosting your income. This game can be played with two, three, four, or even five players. And if you want to spice things up with AI players, you’ve got options! Choose from defensive, aggressive, or intelligent opponents. Plus, there’s a cool random feature that lets Strategic War pick the difficulty for you.

Customize Your Game

You can also tweak some settings in the Preferences window. Want to adjust the music volume? No problem! You can also change how fast the computer runs and decide how land is assigned—either at random or let each player pick their country.

Army Management

Every player starts off with at least three incoming armies. The number of armies you get depends on how many countries you own divided by three, plus bonuses for owning entire continents. During your turn, you can deploy troops, attack nearby countries, and fortify territories by moving soldiers around.

Tracking Progress

The side bar gives you a clear view of how much of the world each player controls. Plus, there's a handy “status table” that helps track which territories and armies belong to each player.
