SystemXInfo is a cool theme for Karamba, and it needs SuperKaramba version 0.37 or higher to work. This software shows you a bunch of useful information right on your desktop!
With SystemXInfo, you can see:
This theme works best for systems that have one Ethernet connection and one WiFi connection up and running. For example, my Linux setup is using SuSE 10.0 with KDE 3.5.1.
If you're using WiFi, just swap out "ra0" with your actual module name like "wlan0" to get it working properly.
You might see something like "O/C @2700MHz" under the CPU info section if that's how yours is set up. You can totally change this text to match your overclocking specs or even delete it if you want—it's totally up to you!
If you want to show the CPU and case temperatures, make sure you're using the right config line based on what your sensors output.
You can also tweak this script further to fit your unique system setup better. Feel free to make it yours!
A huge thanks goes out to the original creator of the Talv 0.1 applet, which I modified for this project.
