Tanoshi is a program that addresses anyone who enjoys manga and would like to have a simple and straightforward way to read and organize their collection. According to the developer, the tool can also be used as a selfhosted web manga reader, with the latter being a PWA and optimized for mostly mobile. Speaking of mobile, the tool allows you to access your reading history all across devices.

The application comes with a fresh and stylish interface and you can get started by creating an account. Take note that you need to create an account on the first run that will also be the admin. You can create further users via the admin user if necessary.

The interface is designed as a dashboard with the main categories listed in the left side, namely Library, Catalog, Updates, History and More, which are basically the settings. The role of the tool is to provide a quick way to browse, search and read manga from local or other sources.

The application also enables you to organize your current collection so that you can easily find what you are looking for in a large collection. You can do so by creating categories for your series and adding the files accordingly.

You will be happy to learn that the app provides some sources where you can browse multiple manga series and grab the ones you like. You can access this feature from the Sources in the Settings area.
