Taskade is a super handy app for macOS that makes it easy to work together with your friends or coworkers in real-time. You can create notes, checklists, and outlines without any hassle!

Getting Started with Taskade

Once you log in (you can set up your account right from the first screen), you'll see a clean layout. It’s split into two parts: your groups are on the left side, and your checklists are on the right. Pretty neat, huh?

Creating Notes and Checklists

If you want to whip up a new note or checklist, just hit the “New List” button in the top right corner. Taskade lets you start fresh or choose from some cool templates. These templates cover everything from weekly task lists to project roadmaps and team review checklists.

No Saving Templates Yet

The catch? While it has templates, you can't save any of your lists for later use—yet! But don't worry; it's still a great tool for organizing tasks.

Customizing Your Checklists

Taskade shines when it comes to making your checklists look good. You can format text and style lists however you like. Plus, using #tags makes it super easy to find related tasks in just a click.

Real-Time Collaboration

As I mentioned earlier, Taskade is all about teamwork! You can kick off brainstorming sessions with friends or colleagues. Want to share your lists? No problem! You can send them via email, share them on social media, or even embed them on your website.

Limitations to Note

A little downside is that Taskade doesn't let you add file attachments to lists yet, and there aren’t options to assign roles within teams either. But hey, they’re working on it!

The Future Looks Bright

If you're curious about updates, according to Taskade's FAQ page, they’re developing a Pro version that should have more features soon.
