TaskTime is a fantastic Mac app that really helps freelancers keep track of their time. If you’re juggling multiple projects for different clients, having a solid time tracking solution is super important. With TaskTime, you can easily organize your records and whip up invoices in no time.

Easy Client and Project Management

The main window of TaskTime has two key tabs: clients and projects. To kick things off, you'll need to add at least one client and link it to a project. Don’t forget! For each project, you can set a time period by choosing a due date. Plus, you can even have different rates for each task!

Recording Your Work Sessions

Now, the main window is all about managing clients and seeing what projects are on your plate. But when it comes to recording what you're actually doing for a specific job, that's where the Project window comes in handy.

In the Project window, you can log all your working hours by starting a timer. Every time you hit that timer button, it automatically adds a new entry to your list of sessions. You can also jot down details about expenses, add flat rates, record payments or notes, adjust the project invoice—basically everything you need to keep track of your work!

Analyzing Your Productivity

To help you figure out how productive you're being, TaskTime lets you quickly create reports on your projects. You can get reports on your yearly activity, daily sessions or even for specific date ranges! Some reports can be sent straight to the printer while others are just saved within the app.

Simplifying Invoicing

TaskTime makes it super easy to record details about your projects and clients as well as all those working sessions. Once you've got everything logged in there, generating invoices is a breeze!
