TekNet Web Browser

TekNet Web Browser is a lightweight and quick application created to offer a fast way of browsing websites while including essential elements that other similar browsers have, such as navigational controls. It provides a straightforward and minimalistic layout that supports multiple tabs.

A history tab option is not included, which would've come in handy for easier access to the recently viewed pages. The program requires .NET Framework to be present on the computer in order to run. Since no other setup is needed, the tool can be copied on any external devices and booted from other computers.

When you run the tool for the first time, it loads a default link which can be changed by accessing a different URL. You can search any sites and swap between them using the navigational functions (back and forward), as well as stop and refresh pages anytime you want.

It's possible to copy, cut and paste URLs from another source, but unfortunately, they can't be stored in a bookmark folder. It would've been a useful feature, shortening the time you spend searching for them. The app supports multiple text encoding modes and gives you the choice of changing the reading direction between left or right.

Compared to other similar programs, this one lets you store photos on your computer. Once the picture is selected, you can save it to the default system folder. A predefined size resolution for the file can be chosen, and the photo can be set as the desktop background. Configurations can be applied before printing an item for the page size and orientation.

Taking everything into consideration, TekNet Web Browser is a reliable software utility designed to offer a fast browsing experience to send emails, watch videos, and store favorite images. Unfortunately, it doesn't support any add-ons as other Internet browsers.
