Themes for WP7

Themes for WP7 is a small and portable tool that provides a pretty straightforward way to personalize themes for Windows Phone applications.

Since installation is not required, you can simply drop the app on any location on the hard drive, in order to run it. Alternatively, you can store it on a USB flash drive, external hard drive or similar device, save it to any computer, and simply run it.

The most important factor is that the Windows Registry does not receive new entries, and no files are left behind on the hard drive after program removal. Plus, you can carry Themes for WP7 in your pocket whenever you're o the go.

The interface of the program is represented by a standard window with a plain layout. You can import themes and ZIP files into the list by using the file browser ("drag and drop" is not supported).

Themes for WP7 supplies users with a few apps, by default (Phone, People, Messaging, Marketplace, Internet Explorer, Games, Zune, Settings), which can be edited by double-clicking them.

But you can create new ones by inputting a few fields involving the name, GUID, image, marketplace to look up and website, as well as associate it with a system application and select an XAP item to automatically parse relevant information. Once all modifications are made, you can deploy the new time, in addition to saving the XAP.

The simple-to-use program runs on a moderate amount of CPU and system memory, and has a good response time.
