Things is an awesome macOS app that helps you keep track of all your projects and tasks. If your schedule is packed, having a tool like this can make a huge difference!
With Things, you can organize tasks for specific projects by using tags. This makes it super easy to find what you need when you're in a rush! Plus, everything syncs in the Cloud, so you don't have to worry about losing any info.
One cool feature is that Things integrates with Apple’s Reminders. This means that any to-do items you create on your iPhone will show up on your Mac through iCloud. How convenient is that?
Just a heads up: Things doesn’t support time-based alarms. When you import tasks with alarm times, they’ll just show up as due dates instead.
You can easily add new tasks in the Inbox section. Just set a title, tag it if needed, add notes, and set a due date. It even handles repeating events!
The personal tags are really handy for finding specific entries quickly using the search bar at the bottom right of the main window. Also, Things allows you to group tasks into Projects and Areas of Responsibility for better organization.
By default, Things has four smart folders to help visualize future assignments. You can choose to focus on daily activities or look ahead at upcoming tasks—whatever works best for you!
The Logbook area is great because it shows you a list of all the jobs you've finished. It’s nice to look back and see what you've accomplished!
If you're looking for an efficient way to keep track of upcoming tasks related to different projects or events, Things has got your back! And don't forget: since it syncs with Reminders, importing entries created on your iPhone using Siri is super easy.
