Tick Time Tracking is a cool online service that helps you keep track of how much time you spend on different tasks for your projects. It’s super handy because it makes sure you don’t go over your budget when it comes to working hours!

The Tick Time Tracking OS X application lets you connect directly to your Tick account. This means you can quickly add new time entries to a task right from the status bar, without needing to open up a web browser.
It’s important to note that the Tick app is all about managing timers. If you want to create new projects or tasks, you'll have to do that through the web console. You can enter time values by hand or use the timer tool, whichever you prefer!
When you're entering time manually, remember to express it in hours! For instance, if you say you worked 4.30 hours, that actually means 4 hours and 18 minutes on that task. It might sound tricky at first, but you'll get used to it!
The Tick web console asks for the total hours you've set aside for each project when starting out. After each entry, it quickly tells you how many hours are left. This way, while using Tick Time Tracking, it's way less likely for you to go over your hour budget since you've got real-time info about your resources.
