Timepiece is a neat little app that helps you keep track of your time. By setting a timer for a specific task, you can stay focused and get things done more efficiently!

Simple User Interface

The interface of Timepiece is super straightforward. You’ve got one panel where you can see the timers already set up for you. One thing to note is that you can't name the timers or change their values; just pick from the preset countdowns, and let the app do its thing!

Keyboard Control

You’ll love that Timepiece supports keyboard shortcuts! Just hit the command key to see what each function does. You can easily start any of the four predefined counters and even stop the current timer if needed.

Timer Visibility

By default, Timepiece keeps the timer window hidden, but don’t worry! You can always bring it back up since it just hides in your Dock. Plus, there’s a handy status bar display so you can quickly check how much time is left.

Alerts and Sounds

Once your time runs out, Timepiece will pop up its main panel and play a sound to alert you. It allows countdowns for 45, 30, 15, and 5 minutes. If you're not quite done when time's up, you have options to extend it by another 5 or 10 minutes right away.

No Customization Needed

This app doesn’t offer customization features like themes or sounds. However, in Preferences, you can choose to pause iTunes when your timer goes off if that’s something you'd like!
