In order to take a ride on the information superhighway you need a suitable web browser to take you there. Throughout the years, several applications have managed to build up a strong reputation in this regard, but new ones should not be neglected. Titanium is just one of the many examples that can take you to desired pages in the blink of an eye.

When you launch the application you quickly notice all the basic elements available in every utility of its kind. Navigation buttons, address field, as well as multiple tab support are amongst the features you can take advantage of.

However, spending a little time navigating might trigger a few design glitches here and there, that can make your visual experience slightly uncomfortable. What's more, tabs don't come in a fixed size, and the overall aspect makes it difficult to detect the one you want to switch to.

The feature set is pretty shallow, with not a lot of variety and accessibility options. You can set a custom home page that greets you each time you launch the application or open up a new tab, but that's about it.

Unfortunately, the application is strictly dependent of IE, sharing bookmarks, with the possibility to add new ones but no way to open them from the main window. What's more, a history tracker is also missing, which would have made up for the poor bookmarking feature.

A big disadvantage is that, compared with others of its kind, tends to get greedy with your system's resources and does not offer much in return. When it comes to speed, no improvements are felt over conventional web browsers, making it lack practicability even more.

All things considered, Titanium is only at the beginning of a long and difficult road to success. Both technical and visual design leave a little something to be desired. Moreover, features implemented are not enough to convince you to give up on your old web browser so easily. If you're looking for something new, this is far from being your choice.
