In the eventuality that you feel you cannot finish all the tasks you set for yourself during the day or perhaps would like to be able to complete them on a timely manner, then you should consider using a to-do manager.

TODOtive is a straightforward utility where you can store and keep track of all the tasks, steps and other things you need to finish effectively. The app comes with a user-friendly interface and, since it rests in the system tray, it does not distract you from doing the actual work.

The interface consists of a single window from where you can add a new task – by pressing Enter after you type it – or searching for existing ones. Once you added your first task, you can include comments, sub-tasks, if any, add it to a category, set notifications and add attachments.

The program does not include categories by default, so you need to take a few moments to create them. The advantage of categories is that they have their own colors and symbol codes and enable you to manage priorities, status and due dates simpler. In case the priority changes or perhaps you changed your mind that add it to another category, then you can make the edits easily with drag and drop.

In addition to finding it in the system tray, the app comes with a sidebar which you can access by moving your cursor to the left side of your screen. From here you can get an overview of the tasks entered along with their categories. You can also access the Settings and change a few things about the app's behavior from here.

It is worth mentioning that the program includes a function that allows you to quickly add a note or new task. Consequentially, you should have no trouble adding an observation or memo during your work or simply add a new task that came up while you are working on the current one.
