The setup operation does not take a long time to finish. As far as the interface is concerned, Torrent Opener adopts a classical window with a neatly organized look that shows all available options. You can get started by opening a downloaded torrent using the file browser only, since the drag-and-drop feature is not supported.

Torrent Opener lets you view the name, total and piece length, mode, number of pieces, date of creation, author, checksum, comments, announce tracker, along with containing files. All you have to do is establish the saving directory to download the torrent content. Apart from the fact that you can check out the size and speed of the task, there are no other noteworthy options available here.

We have not come across any stability issues in our tests, thanks to the fact that it did not hang, crash or pop up error messages. It had a good response time and minimal impact on machine performance, running on low CPU and memory.

Although it does not implement rich features, Torrent Opener delivers a quick and simple way of downloading torrents from files.
