Trafo Portable

Trafo Portable is a small, yet powerful software tool developed specifically to help you perform multiple calculations for electrical transformers.

This is the portable counterpart of Trafo and thus, one of the first advantages is that the installation process is not a prerequisite. Moreover, it does not add files to your hard drive or Windows registry without asking your permission.

If you copy the program files to an external data drive, it is possible to run Trafo Portable on any machine you can connect to, with just a click of the button.

The interface may seem a bit convoluted to novice users, yet if you possess knowledge pertaining to electrical transformers, it will seem intuitive and easy to handle. It is comprised of a lot of boxes, and several radio and normal buttons.

This software utility enables you to calculate the values of primer and secondary coils, by inputting a large number of parameters. For example, you can input the voltage of the coil (between 1 and 9999) and current density, so as to find out the wire diameter and power of transformer.

All these results can be saved to a custom location on the hard drive, in a TXT file, for safekeeping or for further analysis at a later date.

CPU and memory usage is minimal and therefore, the machine’s performance will not be affected in any way. Our tests did not reveal any errors or crashes, the environment is intuitive and the response time is good. Taking all of this into consideration, we can safely say Trafo Portable is an efficient piece of software.
