Description

TRAMS

TRAMS is a handy application made for annotating microbial SNPs. It’s pretty straightforward to use, but you will need to provide two files to get started: a reference genome file and a SNP table.

What Files Do You Need?

The SNP table you upload has to be a tab-delimited text file. While it's recommended to use the .tsv extension for this file, it’s not a strict requirement. Just make sure it’s in the right format so TRAMS can read it without any hiccups!

Getting Started with TRAMS

To kick things off, first gather your reference genome file. This is like the main blueprint for your analysis. Then, prepare your SNP table with all the data you want to annotate. Once you have both files ready, just upload them into TRAMS.

Using TRAMS Effectively

Once you’ve uploaded your files, TRAMS will help you annotate those microbial SNPs efficiently. The user interface is designed to be friendly, so you shouldn’t have too many issues navigating through it.
