Troga

Troga is a super handy translation tool that fits right into your Mac's desktop. It's got a sleek design and supports over 20 languages, making it easier to learn new words!

User-Friendly Interface

The Troga interface is simple. You just type in the word you want to translate in one window. There’s a little panel where you can pick your target language and decide which way you want the translation to go.

Translation History

The main area of Troga has two sections: one shows your translation history, and the other provides the details of each translation. Keep in mind that Troga focuses on translating single words, so it won't handle phrases or sentences.

Phonetic Translations

If you're translating from English to another language, Troga lets you see how to pronounce the word phonetically and even hear an audio pronunciation! For other languages, you'll still get audio for the translated term, which is pretty accurate!

Customizable Features

By default, Troga keeps track of only word translations. But if you want, you can change this in the Preferences to save everything you've entered. You can also let the app automatically figure out the source language and adjust how often it reminds you about previously translated words.

Convenient Access

To make things even easier, Troga allows you to add new words using OS X dictation tools. Plus, it has icons for both Dock and status bar access. You can even set up a system-wide hotkey for quick use!
