Turbo-Secure is a cool set of Nautilus scripts designed to help you encrypt and secure your data easily. If you're looking for a way to keep your files safe, this is definitely worth checking out!
So, here's the deal. Gnome has this program called sea-horse, which also encrypts files, but honestly? It can be super complicated for new users. I found it really frustrating just trying to do some basic encryption tasks. Plus, I tried EncryptDecrypt Reloaded by rmanola, but it didn't work for me at all.
I even gave Encrypt/Decrypt Files by Guci a shot, but it was missing quite a few features that I wanted. After all those attempts, I thought, why not make my own solution? And that's how Turbo-Secure came into being!
If you want to try it out, it's super simple! Just download the .sh script from the link below:
Once you have it downloaded, just right-click on the file and go to "Properties." You'll need to check the box that says "Allow Executing File As Program." Don't worry; it's easy! After that, run the script and follow along with the quick installer. It will install everything you need in no time.
The best part? Once it's installed, you can access Turbo-Secure right from your right-click "Scripts" menu. How convenient is that? Encrypting your files has never been so straightforward!
