Text Flex tXtFL, the teXt Football League, is a strategy-based football simulator. Teams can be updated from real stats on the web, built through unique plays, and then tested on the field.

A graphical display allows coaching from the command-line while viewing player and game stats.

tXtFL is a football simulator where you are coach. You create your team, pick your players, and make the play calls. During each football game, you can watch rushing, receiving, passing, and more statistics pile up depending on the calls you pick...plus a little luck. You can even play in auto mode by simply holding down Enter and letting the game play itself.

tXtFL Draft is a utility for updating player statistics and team rosters. It now includes a graphical interface and browser loading mechanism for importing statistics from football websites to create your own teams and players (for your own private use). You can also import statistics manually by saving to a spreadsheet and loading it in tXtFL Draft.

Teams can be coached by choosing each play as well as reorganizing teams. You can tweak player assignments, add new plays, and track player statistics.

A manual is included with each package and is also found online.
