Having the right means to connect to serial port devices in order to test their functionality, and perform troubleshooting or debugging can be very advantageous, and serial port terminals target such requirements, providing the specialized tools for tackling the challenges of data to portal processes. One such port terminal is uTerminal.

This specialized piece of software was created with the sole purpose of providing users with a terminal port that features advanced functionality and comes equipped with support for the Arduino specification.

Users will be able to access a complete configuration for the port parameters, such as baud rate, data bits, stop bits, and parity bit, and the app will allow them to list the port updates, and access hardware flow control under the RTS or CST protocols, and display and control RS-232 signals.

When it comes to transmissions and receival, separate buffers are provided, various different data encodings are supported and the data can be displayed in different formats. Additional fields are provided for HEX conversion of the handled data, and support for regular expressions and search and replace is provided.

Last but not least, advanced features are provided for the Arduino format, and up to 16 different data series are supported, each with customizable colors, and 3 display and 2 output modes offer users a configurable approach.
