Verbose Text to Speech is a comprehensive software utility that provides a text-to-speech tool with intuitive options, catering to all types of users.

The interface is well-organized. You can type text directly in the primary window or load content from file (including active windows with unsaved data) or Clipboard.

Only one voice is available: Microsoft Anna. It is possible to read text aloud and save it to Wave or MP3 format, save speech from file or Clipboard, as well as globally alter voice recitation using an example text, when it comes to speed, pitch and volume.

Other options of Verbose Text to Speech let you edit audio, save it to another format, as well as burn an audio or MP3 CD, but only by using third-party components that need to be separately downloaded and installed.

As far as program settings are concerned, you can set the tool to automatically run at system startup, set default format settings for saving speech, as well as change voice pronunciation, just to name a few.
