VeryPDF PDF Stamper

VeryPDF PDF Stamper is an advanced tool designed to add text, image and line watermarks to multiple PDF documents at the same time. It features customization options mostly geared toward experienced users.

After a speedy and uneventful installation, you're welcomed by a normal-looking window split into several panes for creating the PDF file list, customizing text, image and line stamp options, as well as configuring general settings. PDF docs can be added from multiple selected files or entire directories.

As far as text stamp settings are concerned, you can enter the desired text, opt for Adobe's font or a custom one, set the text size, color and alignment, specify the alignment, as well as opt for dynamic mode to display preset text, such as the local time, page number, total pages, title, author, subject, or PDF filename.

In case of image stamps, it's possible to load pictures from JPG, JPEG, GIF, TIF, TIFF, PNG and other filetypes, set the position and rotation angle, overlay or underlay layers, as well as specify an on-click action, like visiting a website, jumping to a particular PDF page, or opening an local file.

When it comes to line stamps, you can set the length to fit the page width or height, as well as establish the length scale, line width and color, position, rotation angle, X and Y translation, and layers.

Worth noting is that the stamps can be previewed in an embedded frame during the customization. Regarding general PDF settings, you can apply the watermarks on all pages or just specific ones, ask the tool to overwrite the original files, process the original ones and create backups, save the new files to a preferred directory, and open the PDFs on task completion.

VeryPDF PDF Stamper has a special feature designed to monitor directories and automatically apply watermarks with the specified configuration to the containing PDF docs, as soon as they are created, copied or moved in that location. Stamp profiles can be saved to file and reused later.

VeryPDF PDF Stamper proves to be a resourceful application for customizing watermarks to apply to PDF documents. CPU and RAM usage was minimal in our tests. Its interface needs some improvements in the graphical department, though. No recent updates have been made.
