With Vimeteo, you can also look back at weather history from the past 1 to 60 hours. This is super handy if you're looking out for your family, planning a business trip, landing a plane, or sailing safely!

How to Use Vimeteo

Here’s a quick guide on how to make the most of this awesome tool:

• Double-click on the world map to see a list of nearby stations.


• Select a station by double-clicking or pressing Enter in the list.


• You’ll instantly get the past 6 hours of meteodata for that station.


• New meteodata will come in every 10 to 60 minutes automatically!


• Hit the "Mark all stations" button to show all stations as red points on the map.


• Use "Show all stations table" for an easy-to-read list of all stations.


• If you want to find a specific station, just use the "Find station" button and type in part of its name or its ICAO code.

Tweak Your Settings with Parameters Dialog

You can customize what you see using the parameters dialog:

• Select which meteo data you want on your diagram: temperature, pressure, wind speed, or wind direction.


• You can choose between US style (Fahrenheit) or European style (Celsius).


• Select how far back you'd like to view data—anywhere from 1 to 60 hours!


• Adjust how far out you'd like to search around your clicked point on the map (in minutes; remember, 1 minute = 1 nautical mile).


• You have an option to save current station meteodata into a text file if you want!

Helpful Tips for Using Vimeteo

Your changes in the parameters dialog will apply automatically when you open new stations. Here are some quick tips:

• The keys “Home” and “End” help navigate through your station list quickly.


• You can use “Page Up” and “Page Down” for scrolling through options easily.


• The “Enter” key lets you pick a station right away!


• If you've recently checked some stations, they're easy to find in the "File" menu!


• A quick click on any column header in your station list sorts it by that column! This makes finding what you need super simple.
