What’s cool about Webmailer? It comes pre-loaded with links for popular webmail sites like Yahoo! Mail, Gmail, and Hotmail. Plus, it supports various webmail programs like SquirrelMail and Roundcube. But don't worry if your favorite isn’t listed; you can easily add your own setup!
Versions for Different Mac OS X Releases
Webmailer has two versions available: one for Mac OS X v10.3 (Panther) and another for v10.4 (Tiger). The Tiger version is especially nice since it lets you pick your default email handler—whether that's Webmailer or another program of your choice.
A Little Limitation on Panther
The Panther version does miss out on this feature, though. But don’t fret too much! Webmailer is designed as a Universal Binary, which means it works great on both PowerPC and Intel systems.
Using Alternative Configurations
If you ever want to use a different configuration instead of the default one, just hold down the shift key when opening that mailto link. It’s super simple!
Troubleshooting Tips
