Winamp for Mac is a super user-friendly media player that makes it easy to load and jam out to your music and playlists. The interface is simple and intuitive, so you won’t have to waste time figuring things out.

Access Your Music Library

From the main window of Winamp, you can quickly get to your music library, organize playlists, and see all your devices. You can also search for songs and easily adjust the volume. One cool feature is that it lets you sync your music with your Android device over WiFi—no USB cable needed!

Syncing with Android

Just a heads up: to sync your music, make sure you have Winamp for Android installed on your device. It’s a must for the syncing process!

Import Playlists from iTunes

Winamp can automatically import all of your playlists from iTunes. Plus, you can create or edit those playlists right from your Android phone! The Winamp library stays in sync with iTunes and any Watch Folders you set up.

Easy Navigation

The main window has three panels: one for libraries and playlists, one for audio tracks, and another for the play queue. In the Play Queue panel, you’ll even see the cover art of the song currently playing!

Search Made Simple

Thanks to Winamp’s built-in search feature, finding songs is super quick. Just start typing, and it will filter results instantly! You can also shuffle tracks in any playlist or repeat an entire list or just one song.

User-Friendly Options

If you right-click on a song, you'll have plenty of options like sending it to an existing playlist or revealing the file in Finder. You can play it, remove it from your library, or add it straight to the queue list! Don’t forget that Winamp allows adding multiple Watch Folders—great for keeping things fresh with new songs and albums.

The Future of Winamp

Winamp has recently changed ownership and is undergoing some big updates on their website. Fingers crossed that the new owners will add some awesome features in the future!
