When it comes to compression utilities, there are a few representative names that come to mind. However, there are various tools out there that can be used for the same purpose, namely to create and manage archive files.

WinROX is one of them, a useful and easy to handle application designed to assist you in generating ROX and RAX archive files, with additional support for various other file types, including ZIP, RAR, GZ, TGZ, TAR, CAB, ARC, ARJ, LZH and LHA.

The application is intuitive enough to help beginners get accustomed to using it from the very first interaction. It enables you to explore the contents of any input archive file, but no other action is allowed (for instance, you cannot open a file within the archive) unless the contents are extracted first.
