Although it can feel pretty cold to some, while others don’t benefit from snow at all, winter comes around every year with all its glory and beauty. Just as the name clearly points out, this isn’t really an application from which to actually pull some practicality, or to be able to interact with, but the purpose of a screensaver is simply to look pretty. You’re first taken through a simple setup process, by the end of which the Windows  Screen Saver Settings menu is automatically brought up. Hitting the preview button fills up your  screen with the content of the new screensaver, while moving the mouse cursor or interacting with the keyboard brings you back to the desktop. It’s a good idea to access the settings panel in order to configure several dedicated options.

We have to admit that it contains a splendid view, depicting snowy mountains, accompanied by sound effects and even snowflakes. Down in the settings panel you have the possibility to toggle sound effects, set snowflake falling speed, whether to play music, and show a clock in one of four available positions.
