Wired WiFi Switcher

Wired WiFi Switcher is a simple-to-use piece of software that can automatically choose the preferred network adapter, based on a set of user-defined rules.

It does not come packed with complicated options or configuration settings, so it can be handled by all types of users, even the ones with little or no experience in networking utilities.

After launching the setup it is necessary to specify the preferred settings when it comes to the primary network adapter, which will be selected whenever a connection is available on it (usually it's the wired Ethernet adapter), after which you can choose the secondary network adapter, in order to switch to it in case the primary one is unavailable. Just keep in mind that the primary and secondary choice cannot be the same.

There is no graphical interface or any visually elements associated with the application. It simply runs as a Windows service at system startup to apply your adapter settings specified at installation. It is possible to uninstall it as any other program.

We have not come across any kind of issues in our tests, since Wired WiFi Switcher did not hang, crash or pop up error messages. It runs on low CPU and RAM during runtime, so it does not affect the overall performance of the computer. Thanks to its simple and intuitive settings, Wired WiFi Switcher can be used by anyone who wants to indicate a primary and secondary adapter to automatically connect to.
