Description
Wireless Workbench
Wireless Workbench is a handy tool that helps you manage all your Shure wireless devices over your network. It makes sure everything is running smoothly and lets you keep an eye on performance too.
Getting Started with Wireless Workbench
Once you install the software, you'll need to spend some time setting up your network. You'll want to connect everything through an Ethernet cable. If the automatic IP address setup doesn't find all your devices, no worries! You can manually assign IP addresses to each one. Just remember that all connected devices should have the same subnet mask for everything to work well.
User-Friendly Interface
The program has a clean and easy-to-use interface that makes navigation a breeze. The main window has three tabs: Inventory, Frequency Coordination, and Monitor. Each tab focuses on a different task, so you can quickly find what you're looking for.
Monitor Your Devices
The Monitor tab is where the magic happens! Here, you can track what's going on with all your connected devices. You can preview and adjust settings for one or multiple channels at once based on what gadgets are connected.
Add Extra Channel Strips
One cool feature of Wireless Workbench is that it allows you to add extra channel strips. This helps you keep an eye on metrics and parameters that could signal possible issues down the line. Plus, if you're managing multiple groups at an event, you can create separate views from the Frequency Coordination tab and choose which parameters matter most to you.
Ensure Peak Performance
If you've set up a wireless network using Shure devices, Wireless Workbench is definitely worth checking out! It ensures all your devices run at their best and keeps everything organized in one place.
