wmalms is a nifty tool that monitors data from a sensor chip, keeping an eye on things like temperature, fan speed, and voltage. If you're looking for a way to keep tabs on your hardware's health, this app is pretty handy!
You can use wmalms as a dockable or swallowed applet with various window managers like Window Maker, BlackBox, and even clones like FluxBox. It also works great with other managers that support swallowing, such as Gnome and KDE (like kpanel-1), FVWM, and their clones.
If you prefer, you can run wmalms as a regular window too! It’s flexible enough to adapt to your setup.
This tool is designed to work with any hardware supported by lm_sensors. So if your hardware fits the bill, wmalms has got you covered!
wmalms comes packed with all sorts of customizable features. You can tweak its appearance, organize how sensor data shows up, adjust refresh frequency, and even set up alarm modes. This means you get it just how you want it!
I actually started developing wmalms after trying out several other sensor monitors. I found that none of them quite worked for me—so I thought why not make my own? If you're interested in checking it out or want to download it yourself, you can find more information here.
