Wondershare DVD Slideshow Builder Standard

Wondershare DVD Slideshow Builder is an application that you can use to create slideshows from image files.

The standard mode of the program comes with a user-friendly interface in which you can import files by using a treeview. You can use the "drag and drop" method to add images to the storyboard.

You can edit the photo when it comes to adding text (including font, color, size, style, opacity), rotation, flipping, cropping and effects (old picture, moon chrome, inverse, brightness and contrast).

You can set the style duration, add intro and credits (e.g. black, white, gray, album, story; edit text effect, duration, title, label, director, cast), add and edit music (e.g. trim the length, enable fade in and out), as well as record audio from an external device and synchronize the duration of images and music.

Moreover, you can select a transition style, add a decoration (text, clipart, effect, sound), toggle between the storyboard, timeline and thumbnail mode, zoom in and out, save projects and finally create a slideshow in the DVD, MP4, AVI, WMV, 3GP, Flash, HD and other formats.

In the "Settings" menu, you can set the default paths for the temporary file and project file, as well as enable Wondershare DVD Slideshow Builder to automatically apply styles to photos, add black border to images to suit the style, and more.

The program uses a moderate-to-high amount of system resources and contains a very well-drawn help file. We haven't encountered any kind of problems during our tests. Too bad the trial version displays a watermark on the output files. Otherwise, we strongly recommend Wondershare DVD Slideshow Builder to all users.
