X-ConvertAll

X-ConvertAll is a small and easy-to-use application designed to help you transform from a measurement unit to another and paste the result into your homework or projects.

The utility comes packed with all the necessary files to run directly without needing installation. This way, the app can be dropped to an external drive and launched from any computer.

X-ConvertAll is wrapped in an outdated yet accessible layout divided into two separate panels: the original and target units. The result is displayed at the bottom of the window.

From the "Options" menu, you can set the decimal place and the maximum amount of numbers that can be saved. You can enable the scientific notation and operator buttons, and customize the text and background color.

Bear in mind that you can't convert units that are not part of the same group. For example, the app won't let you transform meters to acres or calories to inches. To select the desired measurement unit you can either type the name in the search bar or manually browse the list.

What's more, it's possible to combine multiple units by selecting two or more units that need to have "*" or "/" between them. This method lets you enter units, such as "ft*lbf" or "mi/hr". Plus, you can calculate exponents, like "ft^3" or "ft*lbm/sec^2".

If you are unable to find a specific unit in the list, you have the option to search for it using the "Unit Finder" function. All you have to do is pick the type (e.g. angle, area, volume, data, time), select the unit and hit the "Insert" button. The results can be copied to clipboard the recent units accessed again.
