X-GeoGebra

Made as a portable version of GeoGebra, this is a free and open-source tool that facilitates a user-friendly workspace and plenty of options for creating projects focusing on geometry, algebra and calculus. It's geared toward math students, teacher and casual users alike.

If you have Java installed on your PC, you don't need to set up anything else. This means that you can save the program files in any folder on the hard drive and simply click its executable to launch GeoGebra. Plus, you can keep it stored on a pen drive and run it on any PC. Unlike most installers, it doesn't modify the Windows registry configuration.

Wrapped up in a pleasant and neatly organized interface, the application lets you insert images from external files, execute algebraic commands, and put together 3D graphics. It contains two separate views for the algebra elements and graphics, enabling you to work with points, polygons, vectors, segments and other geometrical aspects.

It's possible to show, hide, rename or delete objects and labels, edit object properties anytime, recompute all objects, measure the length of vectors, include lines and axes, and explore a long list of mathematical functions and expressions, including the Euler constant, Boolean variables, and matrices.

GeoGebra lets you customize the font size and select another UI language, save settings or restore them to default, personalize the toolbar, create and manage tools, change dimensions, axes and the background color, and more. These are just part of the options provided by this utility.

It didn't put a strain on the overall performance of the machine in our tetss, thanks to the fact that it required low CPU and memory to function normally. No error dialogs popped up, and the app didn't hang or crash.
