Description

Xip Application

Xip is a handy command line tool made to pull out IP addresses and address ranges from text files. If you work with networks, this tool can save you a lot of time!

Why Use Xip?

So, why is Xip useful? Well, it helps with various network tasks like checking log files or grabbing IP addresses from emails. It can spot IP addresses all on their own—like 10.2.3.4. Plus, it recognizes address ranges that are separated by a dash (like 10.2.3.4-10.2.3.50) and CIDR format ranges (like 10.2.3.0/24). Pretty neat, right?

What’s the Output Like?

The best part? The output is cleaned up! It removes duplicates and sorts everything for you, which makes it easy to read through the results.

Using Xip Made Simple

Getting started with Xip is super easy! Just type in Xip or Xip -?, and you'll see the syntax you need to use right away.
